C10 without Android Auto and CarPlay: wait for QDLink or is the Carlinkit already a serious solution?

I’m trying to work out whether, for the C10, it still makes sense to wait for an official solution or whether, in practice, it’s already better to go for an external adapter. In a discussion abroad, several users mention QDLink as a mirroring function announced for the system, but at the same time there are those who say they’re already using a cheap Carlinkit with almost perfect results.

The interesting part is that it doesn’t seem to be purely a software issue: the question of chipsets approved for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is also brought up, so it’s not certain that the definitive solution for cars already delivered will be so straightforward.

For those using the C10 every day, how are you sorting yourselves out? Is it better to wait for an official move from Leapmotor, or are external adapters already mature enough to solve the problem without making life complicated?

hi, does Carlink work well for you?

Has anyone recently tested a CarPlay dongle?

Good morning! I’ve collected the C10 AWD 2026 and can confirm that there’s no way to use CarPlay or Android Auto natively. I’ve installed the Carlinkit and can confirm that the product is usable, although there are still a few things I need to sort out… basically, sometimes the audio is routed through the phone rather than the car, and at other times the automatic start causes the menus to close and reopen. I’ll need to read a bit of advice and experiences around the web and sort the matter out. Over the weekend I also noticed that roaming data wasn’t working abroad (France).
