I was intrigued by the new Leapmotor B01 because it seems to focus heavily on the theme of range without wanting to be an expensive electric saloon. From the static test, three things stand out: the setup of a compact family car, attention to interior space, and a very clear message about reducing charging anxiety.
For now, I’d take it as an interesting indication, but not as a European spec sheet. It’s a model presented outside our market, so equipment, battery, software and availability in Italy need to be verified when there’s official information for Europe.
What I find most interesting is that Leapmotor continues to broaden its range below the C10 and B10, with models designed for everyday use and more accessible prices. If it were to arrive here too, it could be a sensible proposition for those looking for a family electric car without stretching the budget too much.
