First notes on the Light Field of the C10 2026

I’ve jotted down some interesting details about the C10 2026, particularly regarding the lighting and interface. The most intriguing novelty seems to be the Light Field system, which combines ambient lighting, on-board graphics and external light signals.

From what one can gather, the idea isn’t purely aesthetic: the lights are meant to communicate certain vehicle situations better, perhaps also in relation to driver assistance features. Internally, there appears to be greater attention to the visual rendering of the dashboard and to integration with the cabin environment.

A word of caution, though: these details come from models shown for the Chinese market, and I’m not taking it for granted that they’ll arrive identical on the European C10. In my view, everything needs to be checked when the EU specifications come out — infotainment, software features and lighting equipment alike.

It still strikes me as an interesting update, more substantial than the usual restyle consisting solely of bumpers and colours.
