Door protectors: which ones do you use? (bumpers, strips, etc.)

Hello everyone!

I’m considering buying door protectors for the B10, especially because the spaces in the car park where I leave my car are quite tight and sometimes I have to open the door near a wall.

I’ve seen several solutions online:

  1. Silicone bumpers - the small ones that attach where the door hits the wall/another car. They are cheap on AliExpress or other sites, but I don’t know how well they hold up or if they detach easily, leaving residue.

  2. Transparent bumper strips - these are applied along the entire edge of the door, offering better protection along the whole length but are more aesthetically noticeable.

  3. Adhesive protectors with the Leapmotor logo - I’ve seen some that also have the logo; they look more elegant.

My questions:

  • Has anyone here already installed any protectors? Which type?
  • How do they hold up over time? Do they detach easily or hold well?
  • Especially for those with leased cars: do they come off without leaving glue residue?
  • Transparent or black/coloured?

I’d like to protect the car without ruining its aesthetics. If you have any photos or links to products you recommend, that would be fantastic!

I opted for option 2, I ordered the transparent strips to put on the edges, more than anything for me it is the most critical point when I put it in the box
