A2A Click Luce: fixed‑price tariff – is it worth locking in now?

Good morning everyone,

I’ve noticed many people are looking for stable rates without surprises, so I’d like to point out A2A Click Luce, which I found on Il Sole 24 Ore tariffs.

It’s a rate with a locked price for 12 months:

Energy raw material price (locked): €0.110/kWh
Monthly fixed fee: €7.10/month
Estimated total cost: €31.03/month (for 2,700 kWh/year)
Rate type: Locked price 12 months
Activation: Online only

The advantage of a locked price is that for a year you already know how much you will pay, even if the PUN (Italian wholesale electricity price) were to rise. The disadvantage is that if the PUN falls significantly, you don’t benefit.

Looking at the trend of the PUN in recent months (currently at €0.139/kWh), locking in at €0.11/kWh seems like a good deal, especially for those who want stability and peace of mind.

Commercialisation costs: The fixed fee of €7.10/month includes administrative costs, meter reading, and customer service.

In your opinion, is it worth locking in now or is it better to wait? I’m undecided between this and Illumia’s variable rate…
