Guys, one of the things that annoys me most about the T03 is the lack of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I was sure it had them, as most modern cars do now.
The Leapmotor infotainment system’s touchscreen is quite responsive, but the company’s app is limited. Without CarPlay, I can’t use Google Maps or Waze with voice commands, which I would have used every day.
I read on the Leapmotor forum that some people have tried alternative solutions. One guy tried an HDMI dongle (seen on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x67Em-Riouo) but says he has compatibility issues.
The B10 and C10 should support them because they have Leapmotor OS 4. So the question is: when will it arrive for the T03? I heard it’s a matter of Apple and Google hardware certification, not just software.
I guess I’ll have to resign myself to only using the proprietary Leapmotor system. It’s a shame, it would have made a big difference.
