I noticed something a bit awkward on the C10: if I turn off the intelligent speed assist with a quick swipe downwards, the road sign recognition disappears as well.
The issue is that I’d like to disable just the constant warning when I exceed the speed limit even slightly, but keep on seeing the recognised signs on the display. With that shortcut, however, it seems like everything gets turned off together.
For now, the only sensible workaround I’ve found is to go through the menu:
- enter ADAS
- turn off the speed limit warning
- then, if it gets annoying, go to active safety and disable the distraction warning as well
This way, at least I don’t immediately lose the speed limit indication. It seems like an unrefined software choice to me, because the two functions ought to be separate.
