B10: can you take off with the cable still connected? I want to understand whether it's an isolated case or a serious bug

I’ve read about a case in which a B10 managed to move off with the cable still plugged in, resulting in damage to both the car-side connector and the charging gun. Frankly, I assumed the lock was guaranteed at a software or hardware level.

I’m keen to understand whether anyone has ever checked this protection indirectly or has seen clear warnings on the dashboard. If the case is real, in my view it’s something that should be reported strongly for a swift update.

I tried it and the car wouldn’t start, but if it happened to someone else there could be a bug and it would be very serious.

I can confirm that as long as the cable is plugged in, there is no way to put the car in Drive, so it’s impossible to drive off with the cable plugged in.
