I tried fitting some external adhesive bars on the B10, but so far my experience has not been good.
As soon as I had fitted them, I already suspected they might give way at a particular point, because the adhesion didn’t seem perfect to me. After a motorway journey, with a bit of light rain on and off, they actually came unstuck.
The whole bar didn’t come off, but enough to make me think they’re not very useful like this and, above all, not very reliable over time. At this point, I would avoid buying them, at least if they’re of the same adhesive type and without a more solid fixing.
In my opinion, before fitting external accessories like these, it’s worth checking the surface, the curves and the quality of the double-sided tape carefully, because on paper they seem like a straightforward modification, but then it only takes a normal journey to see whether they actually hold up.
