Something rather annoying happened to me with the air conditioning: I realised it had been left on for about 13 hours without me noticing.
The strange thing is that I had walked past the car and everything seemed to be switched off: no obvious noise, nothing that would make me think the climate control was still on. In the end, however, I found I’d lost about 30 km of range.
I don’t know whether it can cause other problems besides battery consumption, but it seems like something to keep an eye on, especially if you often use the climate control via the app or if you leave the car parked for many hours.
For now, I’ve made a note to always check on the screen or the app that the climate control is actually switched off, because at a glance it’s not that easy to tell.
