Important information for those using (or considering) the Enel Waybox for home charging.
Some users have reported a peculiar behaviour in the event of a temporary power cut.
If the power goes out during a charging session (even for just a second, perhaps due to an overload or a storm), the Waybox does NOT automatically resume charging when the power returns.
Result:
You might wake up in the morning with your car not charged, because the wallbox went into standby after the power cut.
What to do:
If you have this model, check if there is a setting in the app for “automatic restart” (some have it, others don’t) or remember to check the app if you know there has been a voltage drop. Otherwise, you will need to unplug and replug the cable or restart the session manually.
