I can confirm that solar charging with the Waybox Enel also works with the B10, although in my case the option didn’t actually appear in the app at first.
I had to call customer services and they sorted out the configuration remotely. After their intervention, the photovoltaic charging management appeared and I can now charge using the surplus energy from my system, without selling back to the grid, without buying energy and without draining the home batteries.
The handy thing is that, when needed, I can also set it to use both sources and reach 7.3 kW, drawing from both the photovoltaic system and the grid.
Now that the installation and configuration are finished, I can honestly say I’m really pleased with the wallbox. If anyone can’t see the solar option, in my view it’s worth contacting support before assuming it’s not compatible.
