Leapmotor lands in Mexico with the B10

I found this news about Leapmotor’s expansion outside Europe quite interesting: as of 6 July, the brand officially entered Mexico, starting with deliveries of the B10 through over 40 authorised dealerships.

One detail that struck me is that the B10 destined for that market apparently underwent around a year of testing on local terrain at Stellantis’ engineering centre in Mexico. After-sales support, on the other hand, is expected to be handled through Mopar.

According to reports, the C10 and C16 should also arrive later. Obviously, we’re talking about the Mexican market, so I wouldn’t take it for granted that equipment, software or configurations are identical to the European ones. However, it seems to me a fairly clear signal: Leapmotor is trying to expand seriously beyond the markets where we already know it.
