Extension lead for home charging station cable

I needed about half a metre more than the 4-metre cable of my Feree charging station, because from time to time I have to leave the car outside the garage.

I couldn’t work out whether the limit depends solely on the length of the cable or whether adding an extension lead could cause safety or communication issues with the car.

I found on Amazon an extension lead for charging cables that could solve the problem by connecting it between the station and the car. The reviews look good, but I don’t have direct confirmation that it works with this specific charging station.

I therefore believe that a compatible extension lead could be the solution, but before buying it I would carefully check the connector type, and the maximum power and current supported. I’d also avoid improvised adaptors or non-certified products, given that during charging they have to handle high current for quite a long time. Has anyone confirmed they’ve tried one with a Feree station?
