B10 wireless charging very slow and gets quite hot

On my B10 I’m noticing something rather annoying: the wireless phone charging is really slow, and after a while the area gets extremely hot, almost like a small induction hob.

In the end I’ve stopped using it to actually charge the phone and gone back to the cable, which is at least more predictable and doesn’t heat everything up unnecessarily. I see the wireless pad more as a handy stand than as proper charging.

I’m also a bit puzzled by the voice assistant side of things: for now I find it far from intuitive and it often doesn’t understand properly what I’m asking. Perhaps it will improve with software updates, but in its current state I wouldn’t rely on it too much.

Has anyone with a B10 EU noticed the same overheating with wireless charging?

Unfortunately, it’s exactly as you say, so the new b10 model has a pad with holes for cooling and improved charging. Let’s say they’ve given us a fake wireless charging, shall we say.

I agree, wireless charging is absolutely unusable, given that after just a few minutes the phone becomes scorching hot.

Same goes for the voice assistant — it’s nothing but “I didn’t catch that, please rephrase your request”…
