I’ve prepared a small checklist to take with me on the day of collection, so I avoid getting carried away with excitement and forgetting some basic checks.
The things I want to verify are these:
- my email correctly linked on the Leapmotor portal
- firmware updated before collection
- presence of two NFC cards and the dongle
- Type 2 AC cable and domestic granny charger present
- repair kit and emergency kit on board
Then I’ll also take a few minutes to have a proper look at the bodywork and interior: paintwork with no obvious defects, doors/bonnet/bumpers aligned, mats present and no stains on the upholstery or seats.
Perhaps these are obvious checks, but I’d rather do them straightaway at the dealership than notice issues later at home.
