The A10 really struck me in this review, especially when it comes to the balance between size, space and price on the Chinese market. I don’t see it as a direct alternative to a Tesla Model 3, but the comparison does show just how much they’re pushing on affordability.
The points that stuck with me most are these:
- roughly 4.27 metres in length, so compact on the outside but quite practical on the inside
- a stated boot capacity with a compartment beneath the floor and a foldable rear row
- a simple interior with a few curious touches and less cheap than I’d expected
- the version tested had level-2 driver assistance with LiDAR
On that last point I’d be quite cautious: the review concerns a model for the Chinese market, so features like LiDAR and certain software functions need checking for any European version. We already know that with Leapmotors there can be differences between China and Europe.
