I’m forming an opinion about the Leapmotor A10, and the most interesting thing for me is that it seems to target the compact electric SUV segment with a very aggressive price, at least based on the assumptions made for Brazil.
The figures that caught my eye are the claimed range of up to 505 km CLTC and the fast charging from 30 to 80% in about 16 minutes. However, you need to be very careful here: CLTC is not WLTP, so I wouldn’t take it as a direct reference for European use.
Regarding equipment, infotainment and available trims, I wouldn’t take everything for granted either. Leapmotor models for non-EU markets often don’t line up 100% with the European ones, so before talking about optional extras or Italian specifications I’d wait for the official European spec sheets.
If it really did arrive with a competitive price, in my view it could become a very appealing proposition below the B10, especially for those looking for something more spacious than a city car without wanting to stretch the budget too far.
