V2L finally works after update 3.41.22: my test and how to activate it without further waiting!

Hello community!

Has anyone experienced issues with V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) after the latest update? I did: it wouldn’t even activate with a 50% battery and I thought it was an unsolvable bug. However, with firmware 3.41.22, Leapmotor fixed it in about a week, also adding a dedicated button in the Power Management section, which is much more intuitive to use.

My B10 and Update 3.41.22

My B10 was ordered in November and delivered recently.
Here’s how I performed the update and tested the V2L:

  1. Firmware Update

    • I went to the OTA section on the dashboard and installed version 3.41.22 (approx. 500 MB, 20–30 minutes on home Wi-Fi).
    • The first attempt failed due to a weak connection, so I recommend using a stable Wi-Fi network to avoid issues.
  2. V2L Activation

    • Requirement: battery above 20% (currently, V2L seems to have this minimum threshold in this “beta” phase).
    • Once the requirement is met, simply press the new V2L button in the power management menu: the output activates immediately.
    • I connected a portable charger, and the car delivered 2.2 kW without any apparent issues.
  3. Real-world Test in the Garage

    • I powered a laptop and a lamp for about 30 minutes via V2L.
    • No power drop, no abnormal behaviour, and no perceptible overheating during the test.

Feedback from the Community

Confirmations are also coming from Telegram that the issue has been resolved quickly: someone commented that “they were careless but fixing it in 5 days is not something everyone can do.”

Have you already tried V2L after 3.41.22? Have you performed tests with devices above 1 kW (e.g., appliances, work tools, etc.)? Share your tests here, so we can gather as many experiences as possible on this feature.

But it is more than right that the limit is 20% and below this limit it deactivates, it is a matter of safety, in fact the camping or guard mode also deactivates below 20%
